Feels really sturdy and deserves 5 stars for that. But it does make all the side buttons hard to press, so it loses a star for that. Also, the S8+ is a beautiful handset – surely Samsung’s best yet? This case doesn’t reflect it: the handset is smooth and minimal; the case is blocky and fussy. Nevertheless it feels like good quality and I imagine it offers good protection.

It’s a good phone, very nice, however so was the S3 or S4 or S5 or S6 or S7. Basically it’s a phone that’s a little better than the S3 but not much.
Battery is a joke, the only reason sumsung make it non changeable is so you upgrade, pure and simple. Don’t believe the reviews online stating customers want it, they don’t. Overall it’s a great phone but it isnt going to win any awards ( well only amongst those that make money from it).

Totally in love with this phone, the design is amazing and the software very good. The screen quality is spot on and I just adore the ‘almost’ bezeless styling. Made the move from a Oneplus3T (great phone, but as expected, feels cheaper compared to this), so familiar with the OS, having previous to that been a iPhone person. The Android software just works better for me, more seamless with what I do, so coupled with the design of this phone, I’m chuffed.

This is likely going to be my last Phone purchase for a while, especially considering the prices phones are going up to now.

Got this phone last week, and this is absolutely a lovely phone. The battery life, which was my major concern with the Samsung mobiles, is stunning. I use it a lot throughout the day, and it still holds 40% on bed time. I had a Iphone previously and so wanted to check for Iphone 8 plus and this one. S8+ has much better features, looks sexy and literally 40% lesser cost to the Iphone 8 plus.
The phone arrived before expected delivery day and in excellent condition.

Really great phone – first things though. do buy a screen protector for front and back, they are available for curved screens, the one I found is case friendly too. In that last regard do put a case on this phone, ok, if you want to wave the phone around and show it to everyone (and risk getting it pinched) this may offend someone’s sense of style but the phone will not look good for very long without one – the glass is strong but will crack and scratch before long and screen replacements can be ruinously expensive. It takes time to set the phone up but be patient, it is worth it. Some of the menus can be confusing but there is masses of online help. Battery life for me, used modestly and switched off at night, is brilliant. Turn off fast charging as this can reduce the overall life of the battery, it charges quickly anyway. This is so much better and now the price has dropped because the S9 has come out, more affordable.

I love this phone, it’s amazing. The picture quality is outstanding, the screen is the best. However, I ordered the midnight black phone and received the orchid grey. I will not be returning it though as I actually prefer this colour but the point of the matter is that they sent the wrong one.

Purchased this to replace a broken Sony Xperia. This phone makes me realise just how much I miss Samsung phones. This is a cracking phone. Does everything I want it to, and does it well. Great screen, great interface and fantastic battery life. Build quality is epic, however I would advise strongly to affix a screen protector to it and a reasonably durable case. Mainly because I would be gutted to damage this beauty.

The s8+ is a great phone, with the features you would expect with a Samsung flagship and good quality build. The charging is rapid of 1hr 30mins and feels slim and light in the hand. Here’s a list of pros and cons…
Pros:
Curved screen which looks cool

Cons:
Fingerprint sensor placement (but you’ll get used to it)
Curved screen will require a screen protector, it will cost a lot to replace if broken
Battery life is ok, will be able to last the day but nothing special
I would recommend this phone as it has halved in price and is so much cheaper without lacking on premium quality. For the price I think the purchase was very much justified.

Great seller. I was sceptical at first after reading some of this seller’s reviews. Turns out I made a good decision. Delivered faster than the expected date and the phone was brand new, in the original box with all the original seals. Top notch seller.
After using the phone intensively for the last few days, I can definitely say it’s a beast of a phone and the only downside it’s the battery. Although I was impressed at first for the great standby time (-1% in 12 hours of inactivity), the phone barely handles one day of moderate use. And if you planning on enjoying this state of the art screen by playing some games, it wouldn’t last more than 4 hours at max. Which is pretty low for a brand new phone.

face recognition really good. Not used fingerprint reader as yet. Dont rely on fingerprint reader if you use a lot of sandpaper for decorating etc, some glues on the finger will stop the reader working!!

It was by some tech mags given better reviews than the iPhone which is why I bought it. I found it not easy to use and at some times annoying. It had a complete update overnight and I am hoping that has improved. My main complaint is that when checking something I.e. anything the slightest accidental touch with Palm or finger anywhere and it switches to on page.

However, I’m giving it 3 stars because of the awfull delivery. I was told it would come in a few days and ended up waiting 15 days for the phone to come. This is why my rating is low. Not because the phone is bad (it’s great) but because of the delivery!
